We’re the Snyder family: Ric, Lori, Silas, and Solomon—plus our two shop dogs, Mable and Morty.

Ric is the hands behind the wood and the heart behind the brand. Over the years, he's been a musician, licensed contractor, restaurateur, executive in the specialty metals industry, and a charcoal portrait artist. Damn Big Table brings all that experience together—where craftsmanship meets soul.

Lori, a Ph.D. and lifelong educator, has spent over 25 years inspiring teachers and transforming classrooms. Her dedication to growth, service, and learning grounds everything we do.

Our son Silas, a professional chef, brings a love of food and community to the table—literally. And Solomon, our youngest, works side-by-side with Ric, helping build the future of Damn Big Table one slab at a time.

We believe some of life’s most important moments happen around a table—over great food, good drink, and even better company. It’s where we solve the world’s problems—where stories are told, arguments unfold, laughter erupts, and memories are made. That’s why we build our tables with craftsmanship, intention, and a whole lot of grit.
